I have greatly appreciated the way in which you have handled the entire process of the sale of our house.

When we decided to sell we invited several agents to come around and give us an idea of what the house was worth and how they would go about selling.  When you came and we found out you had only been in town a short time we nearly made up our mind not to use you. However, within a short time you gave us confidence it would be worth our while to let you have a look at the place and see how you went. We were immediately impressed because you were the only agent who got a handle on the uniqueness of the house in its entirety – its sense of cool spaciousness, the possibility of subdivision, the relaxing open areas resulting form the huge balcony, the appealing spa located in the retreat and so on. It was not just another 4x2. With this feel for the house we gained assurance that you would be the one to sell our house. 

Then you told us we only had to sign up for a month so we signed up. We returned to Perth and our friend in Real Estate gave us some advice on how to make a choice of selecting our agent and you came up trumps, especially when he said we needed to go with the agent who is passionate about selling our house. Although we signed up on a monthly basis we never intended to change agents as you continued to let us know how the market was going, who had enquired and why they did not proceed.

We were concerned about the way the sale would be promoted through the web and papers but again we had nothing to worry about. Getting that sunset photo from the Echo meant a lot to us. It is my screen saver on one of my computers.

Just when we were considering pulling it out of the market for a while you made this connection which you sensed was going to go somewhere and it did.  Your up front approach with the buyer that we would not consider a ridiculous offer enabled us to pursue a genuine and fair process of negotiation.  You will recall how we chose to make just one counter offer – take it or leave it. This was quite stressful for us but you accepted and supported our decision and held your nerve until the transaction was complete.  As a result, we feel that we achieved the price we had set in our hearts and the buyer got a house which was its true value. 

After the offer was accepted we had to provide you with many documents but as with every other stage of the process you were courteous and helpful.
